The 49th District\u2019s No. 1 seed came down to a PK shootout on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After seeing both Corbin, and North Laurel battle things out to a four-all tie in regulation, and two overtime periods, the Redhounds finally came away with the 5-4 win after winning the PK shootout, 4-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corbin locked up the district\u2019s top seed, improving to 11-6-1, and 4-0 against district opponents while a heartbroken Jaguar squad will be the No. 2 seed while falling to 8-7-2 overall, and 3-1 against district opponents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seth Miller gave North Laurel an early 1-0 lead before the Redhounds\u2019 Gabe Cima tied the match at one apiece during the 32nd minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grant Abner\u2019s goal during the 37th minute allowed the Jaguars to enter halftime with a 2-1 edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cima tied the match at two apiece just two minutes in the second half, and gave his team a 3-2 advantage during the 53rd minute thanks to a penalty kick,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Laurel fought back and reclaimed the lead as Jackson McCowan took a pass from Tanner a Broyles and scored to tie the match at three apiece during the 67th minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then followed with a goal during the 72nd minute to give his team a 4-3 lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lead didn\u2019t last long, though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brayden Vann tied the match at four apiece with four minutes remaining in regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both teams failed to score during the two overtime periods before Corbin won the match by outscoring the Jaguars, 4-2, in the PK shootout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
