It\u2019s been a week to remember for the Oneida Baptist Mountaineers\u2019 boys\u2019 soccer team. The Mountaineers not only went 2-0 to capture the 13th Region All A Classic title, but they also capped the stretch with an impressive 8-0 win over Pikeville on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offensively, the Mountaineers were once again explosive, with Henrique Gabardo recording a hat trick. Amadeus Martin added two goals, Hero chipped in one, and Mikyas Dawit found the net twice. The balanced scoring attack helped push Oneida Baptist to a 5-0 record on the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through their first five matches, the Mountaineers have been nothing short of dominant, outscoring their opponents by a staggering 51-1 margin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPlayed really well overall,\u201d Oneida Baptist coach Hunter House said. \u201cHuge week for us next week, tribe shootout at Madison Central and North at home. Going to be heavily tested and I\u2019m excited to see how the boys respond. Still lots to work on but we are only going to get better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
