Williamsburg took the match in straight sets, 25-14, 25-17, 25-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lady Jackets set the tone early, cruising to a 25-14 win in the opening set with strong serves and efficient play at the net. They kept their momentum rolling in the second, pulling away late for a 25-17 victory. Williamsburg left no doubt in the third, dominating from start to finish with a decisive 25-4 performance to seal the sweep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coach Berta credited his team\u2019s balanced attack and success in the freshman, jayvee, and varsity matchups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe had a great performance from all three of our teams tonight,\u201d he said. \u201cGreat effort from everyone on the court. It will take another great effort tomorrow. We were able to sustain serving runs and play quality defense tonight as well as quality offense. Our team was focused and able to use this game as an opportunity to get better.
