The Wildcats return a roster full of talented runners that look to make a run at the program\u2019s first-ever regional crown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur boys team is a great group of young men, with only two seniors, Carter Foley and Cooper Mills both returning for their second season, and I expect them both to have a great senior campaign,\u201d Lynn Camp coach Marc Estep said. \u201cClayton White and Ethan Curry, both juniors return this year after great seasons last year. Clayton has been running since Middle School and continues to get bigger and stronger each year. Ethan, finished off last year, being the only boy to qualify for the State Meet in Lexington, we didn’t have a full boys team, for us. We are excited to have two eighth graders, Blake Brown and Ricky Smith, join us this year. Both Blake and Ricky will definitely make an impact for us by the end of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis group of young men definitely are putting the work in and being easy to coach, they understand that they are running for each other and are willing to do anything to be in the mix by the end of the season,\u201d he added. \u201cIf they can stay healthy and focused, I think they can surprise some people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt has been a couple of years since we have had a full boys team and that team was able to bring home the Region Runner-up trophy,\u201d Estep continued. \u201cThis group has their eyes on winning the first Regional Title for the school and I don’t see any reason why they can’t, again time will tell in the end.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Estep admitted he blessed to have such a great group of boys that make up the roster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey don’t say much, they just do what they are asked,\u201d he said. \u201cI don’t know any coach that wouldn’t like that. They are another special group and I’m excited to see them succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
