The Jaguars were cursing along until two weeks ago. They\u2019re 0-3-1 since Sept. 12 and really need a win against Somerset Monday to have some type of momentum entering Tuesday\u2019s crucial matchup with Corbin. The winner of the game will come away with the 49th District\u2019s top seed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. South Laurel (7-6-2, 4-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cardinals are the hottest team in the region. They\u2019re winners of four consecutive matches with hopes of continuing the streak this week with road games against Pulaski County, Madison Southern at Barbourville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Whitley County (7-7, 1-3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Colonels haven\u2019t had a bad season but they just can\u2019t seem to get over the hump against district opponents. Whitley County has won two in a row and look to finish the regular season out with games against Russell County, Middlesboro and Somerset Christian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
