JAMESTOWN \u2014 South Laurel\u2019s bass fishing duo of Hailey Anderson and Brooklynn Martin turned in a second place finish during this past weekend\u2019s 2025 Operation UNITE KHSAA Girls\u2019 Bass Fishing State Championship.
Anderson and Martin lost by only a pound to Boyle County\u2019s Allie Addison, who caught four fish for a total of nine pounds, and seven ounces.
South Laurel\u2019s Anderson and Martin combined to catch four fish that totaled eight pounds, and seven ounces. Martin also won the Big Bass Award which weighed three pounds, and six ounces.
Ten girls\u2019 teams competed in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
