Carl turned in a perfect 3-for-3 effort at the plate while delivering two home runs, five RBI, stealing a base, and scoring twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monhollen tossed all five innings while limiting the Lady Rockets to only three hits, and finishing with 11 strikeouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGood game by our girls tonight,\u201d North Laurel coach Chris Edwards said. \u201cThey came out ready to go and we played really well tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTessa was really good again tonight,\u201d he added. \u201cOnly three hits and 11 strikeouts. Defense caught everything. We can be good when we play like we did tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThree home-runs tonight, two by Emma and another by Bella Finley,\u201d Edwards continued. \u201cMultiple hits from those two tonight. Several other hits from the others. We also drew six walks and stole three bases. All around good game tonight. Big day tomorrow at the Jon Hooker Classic. Go Jags.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
North Laurel (23-4) won its ninth game in a row by taking a 4-0 lead in the first inning while never looking back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lady Jaguars added a run in the second inning before adding two runs in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth inning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
