Whitley County\u2019s struggles against Pulaski County continued on the road Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Colonels dropped their ninth straight game to the Maroons, losing, 55-13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whitley County had no answer for Pulaski County\u2019s offensive attack, falling behind 41-7 at halftime, and could t recover in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Maroons scored right off the bat with an 88-yard kickoff return for a score, and never trailed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the time the end of the first quarter was over, the Colonels were behind 19-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pulaski County had built a 33-0 lead before seeing Whitley County score it\u2019s first touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam Haynes took a kick-off return 92 yards with 1:22 remaining to cut his team\u2019s deficit to 33-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eighty-seconds were more than enough time for the Maroons to add a score right before halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pulaski County found pay dirt right before halftime allowing the Maroons to take a 41-7 advantage into the second half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Colonels\u2019 Shane Parker opened the third quarter with a 75-yard touchdown run to make the score, 41-13, but Pulaski County added two more touchdowns in the second half to secure a 42-point win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whitley County will be back in action of the road Friday against Collins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
