The Lady Wildcats (6-8) couldn\u2019t overcome 10 errors that led to nine unearned runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Danville Christian scored eight runs in the top of the third to claim an 8-7 lead before adding four more runs in the top of the fourth to make the score, 12-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lynn Camp answered with three runs in the bottom of the fourth to cut its deficit to 12-10 before Danville Christian added four more runs in the top of the sixth, pushing its lead to 16-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nikki Hendrix\u2019s squad answered with four runs of its own in the bottom of the sixth to make the score, 16-14, but Danville Christian added a run in the top of the seventh, expanding its lead to 17-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lady Wildcats had one final rally in the bottom of the seventh but could only muster two runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emma Burnette and Madison Weymers both connected with home runs in the loss. Burnette finished with two hits, four RBI, and a run scored while Weymers had three hits, one RBI, and scored three times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
