The Redhounds (4-5) pushed across three runs in the fifth inning, one run in the sixth inning, and two runs in the seventh inning to prevail.
\u201cBig team win for us,\u201d Philpot said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been through a meat grinding part of our schedule and it was great to see us fight through some adversity and come up with the clutch hits and plays we\u2019ve been needing. Cruz (Cima) and Kade (Elam) both threw well and kept us in the game and we had several contributors to set us up offensively. Some huge bunts and long at-bats, sac flys that may get overlooked but absolutely changed the game for us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elam went 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and three runs scored while Jaden Broughton delivered two hits, and four RBI. Noah Cima and Trey Preston each finished with two hits, an RBI, and a run scored apiece while Cam Estep had a hit. Clay Botner and Lucas Tarvin each scored a run apiece while Kaidan Freeman drove in a run<\/p>\n\n\n\n
