OWENSBORO \u2014 Corbin\u2019s run for a Kentucky 2A state championship came to an end during opening round play of the tournament after dropping a 61-57 loss to Franklin County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was the deciding factor of the game?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lady Redhounds\u2019 struggles in the second quarter that saw them get outscored, 19-8, while entering halftime facing a 31-25 deficit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaac Wilson\u2019s squad battled in the second half, tying the game at 44 apiece entering the fourth quarter, but the Lady Redhounds\u2019 rally fell short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Franklin County knocked down 15-of-26 shot attempts from the free-throw line in the game while Corbin was 2-of-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kylie Clem led the Lady Redhounds with 23 points while Raegan Walker finished with 12 points, and Lydia King added 11 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
