The Redhounds dug themselves an early hole, trailing 15-10 at the end of the first quarter, and 29-18 at halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Corbin (7-4) cut its deficit to 39-36 entering the fourth quarter, but Little Miami pulled away in the final eight minutes, outscoring the Redhounds, 20-13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tony Pietrowski\u2019s squad\u2019s struggles at the charity stripe played a big role in the loss. Corbin hit only 7-of-22 free throw attempts while Little Miami finished 6-of-9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPlayed another really solid team today,\u201d Pietrowski said. \u201cWell-coached, talented and play extremely hard. We played with tremendous effort which is very encouraging. It\u2019ll also be a great game for us to revisit and see areas we can improve upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe had some great looks at the rim that didn\u2019t fall, missed a good amount of foul shots as well,\u201d he added. \u201cAll that said, I\u2019m excited to see how we respond tomorrow and can\u2019t wait to get back on the floor with my guys.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
