The Jaguars (4-1) used a 23-4 run in the first quarter and never looked back during their, 77-29, victory over the Mountaineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m glad we could get our first district win of the season on the road tonight,\u201d Valentine said. \u201cOur defensive effort was very good. Offensively, our ball movement and spacing were really good. We got a lot of contributions from different guys.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
North Laurel shot 30-of-54 from the floor, including a 6-of-14 effort from 3-point territory. The Jaguars connected on 11-of-13 shot attempts from the free-throw line while outrebounding Oneida Baptist, 38-18. Valentine\u2019s team only had four turnovers while forcing the Mountaineers into 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reece Davidson recorded a double-double, finishing with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists. He hit 7-of-11 shot attempts while connecting on 6-of-7 shot attempts from the free-throw line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RJ Noble finished with 12 points, five rebounds and three assists while Corey Cunagin tallied 10 points and four rebounds. Jordan Rawlings hit two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
