NICHOLASVILLE \u2014 For the first time this season, the Corbin Lady Redhounds have dropped two games in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After falling to Whitley County earlier in the week, Corbin (23-7) finished regular season play with a 3-1 loss to the Colts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTonight, we faced a tough West Jessamine team and came up short in four sets, but I couldn\u2019t be prouder of the fight our girls showed on the court,\u201d Corbin coach Krystal Jones said. \u201cThey played with heart and determination, battling until the very end. We knew it would be a challenge, but this match gave us exactly what we needed as we move into district play on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMatches like these are about more than just the score,\u201d she added. \u201cThey help us grow, learn, and prepare for what\u2019s ahead. I\u2019m confident this experience will make us stronger as a team. We\u2019ll take what we learned tonight and use it to fuel our efforts moving forward. Go Redhounds!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corbin will be back in action Monday during semifinal action against Williamsburg. The Lady Redhounds will host the tournament with their game against the Lady Yellow Jackets scheduled for an 8 p.m. start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
