STEARNS \u2014 A slow start led to Williamsburg\u2019s 2-0 loss to McCreary Central on Thursday, snapping the Lady Yellow Jackets\u2019 two-game win streak during the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lady Raiders picked up a 25-14 win in the first set before sealing the win with a 25-23 victory in the second set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe started out too slow tonight, especially playing best two out of three sets,\u201d Williamsburg coach Dirk Berta said. \u201cGive credit to McCreary as well though, they came out from the start and had good offense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe struggled to find consistency offensively and it put us in a tough spot,\u201d he added. \u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to next week with practice and another 50th District matchup. As always, Go Jackets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
