This could be the one of the top games in the 13th Region. Letcher Central traveled to Raceland and almost came away with the win. Don\u2019t be surprised to see if this game goes down to the wire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prediction: Letcher Central 26, Bell County 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Clay County at Williamsburg<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This game could have lots of fireworks. Both teams are unbeaten with Clay County coming in with a 2-0 mark while the Yellow Jackets are 1-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Look for both teams to score early and often and in this one, I\u2019m going with the home team in a close one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prediction: Williamsburg 49, Clay County 47<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gate City, Va. at Middlesboro<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Blue Devils have one of their better teams in years but I\u2019m looking for the Yellow Jackets to get their first win of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prediction: Middlesboro 27, Gate City 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Harlan County at Whitley County<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Colonels could easily be 2-0 while the Black Bears are looking to get back to their winning ways. The key will be containing Whitley County\u2019s Dee Parker. He\u2019s rushed for more than 200 yards during the first two games of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prediction: Whitley County 28, Harlan County 13<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lexington Catholic at Corbin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Knights are 0-2 and could very well be 0-3 after today. Corbin has won 40 straight regular season games and I don\u2019t see anything changing this week. Redhounds make it 41 and counting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prediction: Corbin 35, Lexington Catholic 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lynn Camp at Knott Central<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Coach Darrell Hendrix has done a fantastic job with the Wildcats and they\u2019ll look to go to 3-0 tonight. It\u2019s not going to be easy, though. Knott Central can put up points quickly. If this game was played at Mitchell Field, I\u2019d give Lynn Camp the nod. It\u2019s hard to win at Knott Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prediction: Knott Central 42, Lynn Camp 34<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n North Laurel at Franklin County<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n These two teams hooked up in a defensive battle last season, and I look for the game to be low scoring again. The Jaguars are for real. They have one of the best offensive\/defensive lines in the 13th Region, but this game is in the road which gives the Flyers an edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
