South Laurel (5-1-1) built a 3-1 lead thanks to goals from Henri Flaegel, Drew Allen, and Liam Zik before the Eagles began to rally, converting two penalty kicks to force a draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe played an excellent first half and really did well to get the ball off of our feet and play quickly,\u201d South Laurel coach Brooks Cawood said. \u201cThe second half was a different story. We sat too far back and the ball was in our defensive third of the field way too much. And although it is frustrating to give up two penalty kicks in one half, we just were not pushing the field enough to keep from being so vulnerable when defending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
