SOMERSET \u2014 The Corbin Lady Redhounds didn\u2019t get a win on Thursday, but they held their own before falling, 4-3, to Somerset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emely Colchado, Revi Sell, and Brylei McKee scored in the loss while Katie Morton had an assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe played much better offensively than we did in our first few games,\u201d Corbin coach Hannah Goins said. \u201cDespite the loss, we played a great game. They had a couple really pretty goals early, but fought our way back. I think we came out a little timid but once we realized we could play with them we started picking it up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re coming together quickly,\u201d she added. \u201cWe\u2019ve set things to work on each gamer and improved each game. The work ethic is there and what I\u2019m most proud of. We haven\u2019t gotten down or quit regardless of what happens we continue to work hard.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
