{"id":25312,"date":"2024-08-12T21:52:50","date_gmt":"2024-08-13T01:52:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.13thregionmedianetwork.com\/?p=25312"},"modified":"2024-08-12T21:52:52","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T01:52:52","slug":"colonels-advance-to-class-2a-section-7-title-game-with-6-0-win-over-harlan-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.13thregionmedianetwork.com\/?p=25312","title":{"rendered":"Colonels advance to Class 2A, Section 7 title game with 6-0 win over Harlan County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WILLIAMSBURG \u2014 Whitley County\u2019s scored early and often, securing its spot in the Class 2A, Section 7 championship game with a convincing 6-0 win over Harlan County on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Colonels led 2-0 at halftime thanks to two goals from Jacob Senters before putting the match away with four goals in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Senters finished with two goals and two assists. Tucker Hale and Bryson Mahan had two goals apiece. Brody Moses, Levi Huddleston and Eli Higginbotham each had one assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe possessed well throughout the game and managed to capitalize on a couple chances in the first half,\u201d coach Michael Branham said. \u201cWe dominated the second half and put up 4four more goals to secure the win and earn our spot in the 2A championship.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-essential-blocks-image-gallery  root-eb-image-gallery-vmfmw\"><div class=\"eb-parent-wrapper eb-parent-eb-image-gallery-vmfmw \"><div
