Pineville quarterback Sawyer Thompson threw for three touchdowns to help guide the Mountain Lions past visiting Garrard County on Friday with a 50-19 win.
Harris squad is now off to a 3-0 start after cruising to easy wins the past three weeks. Many thought Paris might pose a problem for Pineville, but they were wrong.
The Mountain Lions scored early, and often. 
Pineville will look to go 4-0 Friday when it hosts McCreary Central.
\u201cThis was a good win for us,\u201d Allen Harris said. \u201cWe played well and played discipline. I\u2019m proud as heck of them. We just stuck to our game plan. Our kids executed tonight. This was a great overall win.\u201d
The Mountain Lions\u2019 defense made two stops to begin the game allowing Pineville\u2019s offense to show what they could do.
Harris\u2019 squad wasted no time finding pay dirt. 
Landon King was able to make a couple of Paris defenders miss, and scored on a six-yard run to give his team a 6-0 lead with 2:24 remaining in the first quarter.
Pineville\u2019s dominance carried over into the second quarter as Sawyer Thompson\u2019s 35-yard touchdown pass gave the Mountain Lions a 12-0 lead with 7:24 left in the first half. 
Harris\u2019 squad wasn\u2019t finished just yet. 
Sawyer\u2019s second passing touchdown, a 28-yarder, stunned the Greyhounds even more as Pineville\u2019s lead grew to 20-0 with 5:40 left in the second quarter.
Paris managed to gain some momentum before halftime, scoring on a nine-yard run, to make the score 20-6 with 3:04 remaining in the quarter. 
The touchdown by the Greyhounds didn\u2019t seem to faze Harris\u2019 squad at all.
Landon Robbins 63-yard touchdown run on the Mountain Lions\u2019 ensuing drive, extended their lead to 28-7 at the 2:52 mark of the first half.
Paris scored first in the second half as a 31-yard touchdown pass cut the Greyhounds\u2019 deficit to 28-13 with 10:12 left in the third quarter. 
Landon King put an end to any hope of a Paris comeback after breaking loose for a 28-yard touchdown run, pushing the Mountain Lions\u2019 advantage to 36-13 with 4:07 left in the third quarter. 
Another touchdown pass by Thompson, a 14-yarder, extended Pineville\u2019s edge to 43-13 with 7:33 left in the game.
Paris added a touchdown late while Landon Jones scored on a 17-yard run while giving the Mountain Lions a 50-19 win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
