Tom Greer\u2019s Corbin Redhounds made a statement Friday after blowing out Franklin County on the road, 40-20.
The Redhounds remained unbeaten at 3-0 while letting the rest of the Class 4A teams know, they\u2019re for real. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by another impressive offensive and defensive effort, Corbin jumped out to a 7-0 lead, and never trailed.
The Redhounds will be tested once again Friday at home when Class 5A power Pulaski County will pay a visit to Cambell Field.
The game was locked in a defensive battle until Cameron Combs added some offensive fireworks.
Combs took a handoff from quarterback Kade Elam and broke loose for a 33-yard touchdown run to give the Redhounds a 7-0 advantage in the first quarter.\u00a0
The Flyers began to heat up on offense, moving the ball downfield until finally connecting with a 27-yard touchdown pass to cut Corbin\u2019s deficit to 7-6 with 10:04 remaining in the second quarter.
The Redhounds extended their lead to 10-6 right before halftime after Jacob Baker knocked down his second field goal (24-yarder) of the season.
Corbin started the second half red-hot on offense, as Zander Curry scored on a 31-yard touchdown run, as the Redhounds\u2019 advantage moved to 17-6 with 9:46 left in the third quarter.\u00a0
Corbin began to pull away on its next possession. The Redhound defense forced the Flyers to punt and Kade Elam\u2019s one-yard run into the end zone capped off another scoring drive, giving the Redhounds a commanding 23-6 lead with 2:54 left in the third quarter.\u00a0
Elam added another one-yard touchdown run almost two minutes later, as Corbin\u2019s lead grew to a comfortable 31-6 advantage at the 1:04 mark of the third quarter.\u00a0
Franklin County followed with a 43-yard touchdown drive to make the score, 31-13, with 9:37 left but couldn\u2019t get any closer.
The Redhounds added two more points to make the score, 33-13, with 5:10 left in the game after Jace Hatfield blocked a punt and the ball went out of the end zone.
Zayne Hammack added a one-yard touchdown run 20 seconds later as Corbin\u2019s lead grew to 40-13.\u00a0
Franklin responded with a touchdown but the game already out of hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
