FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. \u2014 North Laurel suffered its second consecutive loss in the Florida Softball Beach Bash by dropping a 4-2 decision to Hancock County on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lady Jaguars (4-5) on track Wednesday with games against Owensboro and Lafayette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Laurel was limited to only four hits against the Lady Hornets, falling behind 2-0 in the second inning before trailing 3-0 in the sixth inning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Edwards\u2019 squad scored a run in the bottom of the sixth only to see Hancock County add an insurance run in the top of the seventh to put the game away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma Carl took the loss in the pitcher\u2019s circle, tossing six innings while allowing four hits and two earned runs. She finished with six strikeouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tessa Monhollen pitched the seventh inning, giving up two hits, and one earned run. She struck one batter out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Braylee Fawbush drove in the Lady Jaguars\u2019 lone run with a hit while Saige McClure delivered a hit and scored one run. Bella Sizemore and Katie Adams also had hits in the loss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
