The Lady Redhounds (4-6) fell behind 5-1 against Central Hardin before losing, 7-4. Corbin had dropped a 6-2 decision to Raceland on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are battling it out with the best teams in Florida,\u201d Corbin coach Crystal Stidham said. \u201cSo proud of the efforts my girls are putting in and getting our footing. We have had big moments at the plate and times in the game against both Raceland and Central Hardin. We couldn\u2019t piece the hits together like we should have in the Raceland game, had opportunities, but left runners on, but we were putting ball in play. Danni Foley pitched heck of a game, they just connected on a few hits in sixth inning to score six. She struck out 10 batters, they only had six hits on the day, it was one of those games that just fell their way that day. Raegan Walker, Anela Sanders, and Raegan Hinkle were dialed in at the plate. Walker was 4-for-4, Hinkle was 2-for-3, and Sanders went 2-for-4, while Hicks, Housley, and Stewart each tallied on hits in the game. \u201cToday\u2019s game against Central Hardin was the first full game Kallie Housley has gotten to pitch this season for us and our defense was on point,\u201d she added. \u201cThey hit quick but my girls were doing business, they had 10 hits in seven innings, but a few shots just went their way today. We gave ourselves a chance and took advantage of plays, They are solid and made big plays as well. They are a great team and this being Kal\u2019s first full seven inning game, she was working her pitches and really finding her stride back on the mound.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
