\ufeffNorth Laurel recorded its third shutout of the season while extending its win streak to four games by slipping past Garrard County with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackson McCowan\u2019s goal in the second half was all the Jaguars needed to lock up the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI thought we played well tonight and really passed the ball well, but we were tired from last night\u2019s game and it showed in the final third,\u201d North Laurel coach David Broyles said. \u201cI felt we were a step slower than we usually are, but the players dug deep and we were able to come away with the victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe had numerous opportunities in the box that we just weren\u2019t able to finish until midway through the second half when Jaxon Jacobs connected with Jackson McCowan to give us the lead at 1-0. We played better defensively tonight and we\u2019re able to hold on in the end.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Laurel is scheduled to be back in action Thursday at Lincoln County. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
