Jackson County 9, Claiborne, Tenn. 7<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lady Generals fell behind 7-2 in the top of the third inning before scoring seven unanswered runs to defeat Claiborne, Tenn., 9-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Freshman Kylie Moore had a fantastic game, going 4-for-4 with two RBI, and four runs scored in the win while freshman Lexi Brockman connected with three hits. She also drove in three runs and scored twice. Josie Starcher delivered three hits and one RBI while Candice Williams finished with two hits and an RBI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Williams picked up the win in the pitcher\u2019s circle, tossing seven innings while allowing nine hits and seven earned runs. She also struck out 10 batters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Game Two<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jackson County 14, Harlan County 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lady Generals scored three runs and never looked back during their 14-1 win over Harlan County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kylie Moore got the win, tossing 4 1\/3 innings while allowing three hits and no runs. She also struck out five batters. Candice Williams pitched 2\/3 of an inning, allowing one earned run, and finishing with one strikeout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
