WILLIAMSBURG \u2014 The more things change, the more they stay the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tony Pietrowski\u2019s Corbin Redhounds clinched their 20th straight berth into the 13th Region Tournament by rolling past Williamsburg during Tuesday\u2019s 50th District Boys\u2019 Tournament semifinal action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Redhounds (20-8) won their fourth game in a row by delivering a 67-30 win over the Yellow Jackets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve players scored in the win for Corbin with Ryder Akins\u2019 19-point scoring effort leading the way. Eli Pietrowski added 10 points while Conner Middleton finished with nine points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExcellent couple of days practice and I thought it transitioned to the floor tonight,\u201d Pietrowski said. \u201cCarter (Stewart), Zander (Curry) and Ryder really turned it up defensively for us early \u2014 sparked our team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRyder continues to play at a really high level,\u201d he added. \u201cCouple him with Middleton, Lucas (Brittain) and Carter, and I\u2019m very happy with our guard play currently. Zander, Trey (Worley) and Eli continue to put in solid performances for us. Happy to advance to the regional tournament and excited for an opportunity to compete for a district title Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williamsburg finishes the season with a 17-14 mark. Henry Bowling led the Yellow Jackets with 12 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
