LONDON \u2014 A slow start didn\u2019t keep the Corbin Redhounds from picking up their 10th win of the season with a 76-66 win over Madison Southern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corbin fell behind 22-20 in the first quarter before rallying to take a 40-33 lead at halftime,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Redhounds\u2019 lead grew to 56-46 entering the fourth quarter, and wrapped up the win by hitting 9-of-12 free throw attempts in the final eight minutes to secure the win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe played well in stretches,\u201d Corbin coach Tony Pietrowski said. \u201cThankfully that was good enough to secure us a win. We didn\u2019t get off to a great start. But battled back and extended our lead heading into halftime. We made enough plays down the stretch to secure the victory.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eli Pietrowski led Corbin with 22 points, 14 of those came in the second half. Zander Curry turned in another solid effort, scoring 18 points while Trey Worley finished with 15 points and Conner Middleton chipped in 11 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cZander and Trey Worley both put in solid performances,\u201d Pietrowski said. \u201cEli was a warrior this evening. Scored through contact, and rebounded well. Madison Southern has a very nice team. Glad to get a victory over them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
