McCreary Central built a 16-0 lead before Lynn Camp finally got on the scoreboard with less than two minutes remaining in the first half.
The Raiders\u2019 Logan Mitchell broke free for a 20-yard touchdown run at the 9:37 mark of the first quarter while Peyton Higginbotham\u2019s pass to Jacob Cecil converted the two-point play to push McCreary Central\u2019s lead to 8-0.
Mitchell added his second touchdown run with 3:45 left in the first quarter while also converting the two-point conversion, pushing the Raiders\u2019 advantage to 16-0.
DJ Wren scored the Wildcats\u2019 first touchdown with a two-yard run. He also added the two-point conversion to cut Lynn Camp\u2019s deficit to 16-8 at halftime.
Higginbotham started the second half where he left off in the first.
He added another touchdown rushing , this time a 31-yarder, as McCreary Central\u2019s lead grew to 22-8 with 8:38 left in the third quarter.\u00a0
Lynn Camp answered on its next offensive series.
Wren threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Jason Lowe with 33 seconds remaining in the third quarter to cut the Wildcats\u2019 deficit to 22-14.
The Raiders answered quickly and took control of the game for good when Mitchell\u2019s four-yard touchdown run gave McCreary Central a two-touchdown lead at 30-14 with 6:15 remaining in regulation.\u00a0
